In 25 years of helping our neighbors, we’ve found that the Master Closet is the #1 place where mold wins by default. It’s not about how "clean" you are—it’s about how much the air is moving.

• The Organic Magnet: Mold doesn't need dirt; it needs "food." Natural fibers like silk, wool, and genuine leather are essentially high-energy fuel for spores. If there’s moisture in the air, these materials soak it up like a sponge and hold it.

• The "Zero-Flow" Zone: Closets are usually windowless boxes. When the door stays shut, the air becomes "heavy." Without a breeze to move the spores along, they settle, land, and start to "root" into your fabrics.

• The "Nose-Blind" Trap: Because we only spend a few minutes a day in our closets, we often miss the early "earthy" warning signs until we pull out a jacket we haven't worn in months and find the "white dust" of a finished colony.
